Some dreams are sickly sweet...
like ancient cake.

And some are just full of digging holes and bossy animals.

It starts with a crumb, a stare from Mum, and a stomach that doesn’t feel quite right. That’s when Dean discovers meerkats have more than just a desert digging problem.

Now there’s sand in his whiskers, bossy animals barking orders, and something flapping high above that’s definitely not friendly. And it’s all because, apparently, eggs are just too delicious to resist.

Can Dineo dig his way out of disaster? Or is this one dream that’s gone way too deep?
